SRS in Multiple Metastatic Lesions
Given systemic therapy advancements, patients live longer and approximately 20-40% of new cancer patients will develop brain metastases. No difference has been reported in overall survival between SRS/SRT alone compared to WBRT plus SRS. SRS alone achieved higher local control compared to WBRT.
