Elekta had the pleasure to attend the 16th International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) Congress in New York City in May, connecting with customers, colleagues and long-time friends over the shared interest SRS and SBRT. As the pioneer of stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), ISRS is one of the most important meetings for Elekta to continue to lead the way in the evolution of SRS and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). Leksell Gamma Knife Society
Did you know that Leksell Gamma Knife users have the possibility to join the scientific society Leksell Gamma Knife Society? The society has been encouraging peer-to-peer collaboration, knowledge sharing, research, and education, for over 30 years and has played a crucial role in establishing the extensive evidence that is behind Leksell Gamma Knife.
More than 130 members from 90 sites around the world gathered at the Leksell Gamma Knife Society meeting at ISRS in New York to discuss and share the advances and challenges of stereotactic radiosurgery. It was a great meeting with many interesting talks and research presented.
