The deadline for the applications of this Fellowship is on the 1st of January 2026!

This unique fellowship is under the direction of ISRS, a community of experts in the growing area of Stereotactic Radiosurgery. It provides an unparalleled opportunity to:

  • Gain experience in patient selection, imaging, targeting and treatment planning.
  • Learn from experts experienced in the field of radiosurgical treatment of malignant tumors as well as functional disorders.

This Fellowship memorializes Lars Leksell’s pioneering role in establishing the field of radiosurgery and his deep interest in stereotactic surgery and radiosurgery for malignant and functional disorders.

The ISRS is grateful for a grant of no less than $12,000 USD from the Leksell Gamma Knife Society which has made this Fellowship possible.

The individual receiving the fellowship award will be recognized at the ISRS biennial congress and the fellowship starts in the year of the ISRS congress.
